What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes event entry plus delicious nibbles to get the conversations flowing. Drinks and larger meals are available to purchase at the venue if you want to level up your event. 🍸✨
What if I’m coming by myself?
Then you’re basically our muse. BTW is made for solo book lovers looking to meet new people who already share something in common. Come join the group chat IRL. 💖
Do I have to finish the book to come?
Absolutely not. Whether you’re finished, halfway, 20 pages in, or relying on “I saw a TikTok about it” energy — you’re welcome.
What kind of books do you read?
Mostly contemporary fiction, romance, fun reads, and books that make you feel something. Basically: the ones you want to talk about.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself!! And maybe your book if you like having it in hand for dramatic effect. Everything else is sorted.
Is BTW just for women?
Nope! While our vibe is girly, playful, and flirty, ALL respectful romance book lovers are welcome.
Can my kids come?
We adore tiny humans, but BTW events are for adult chats, adult themes, and adult vibes. So kids will need to sit this one out.
What’s the vibe at events?
Warm, friendly and relaxed. Think: new-friend energy, easy conversation, and “omg I loved that part too” moments.
What if I’m shy or anxious?
So many of our members are! And they leave saying, “That was easier than I expected.” Our hosts are chatty, welcoming, and make sure no one is left hanging.
Can I come late?
Life happens! If you're running behind, just slip in quietly - we'll save you a seat.
Can I drink at the event?
Yes! Most venues offer drinks. Cocktails, mocktails, wine, sparkling… choose your vibe. 🍹✨
Is there a refund or cancellation policy?
Tickets are non-refundable (events are planned based on final numbers). If something unexpected happens, message us — we’ll help where we can.
What if I need to change my ticket to someone else’s name?
Totally fine! Just email or DM us their name and we’ll update the list.
Do you have a group chat?
Yes! Each chapter has its own chat where we share updates, organise extra hangouts, and exchange “I can’t believe that plot twist” messages.
How do I join the chat?
Once you've attended your first event, we’ll send you the link! Super easy.

Most venues we work with offer options for common dietary needs. Nibbles on the table usually include a mix so everyone can enjoy something - but just shoot us a message letting us know so we can ensure you're covered.
Can I bring a friend?
Yes please! More book lovers = more fun. Just make sure they grab a ticket too.
Do you do anything outside of book club?
We do! Movie nights, brunches, walks, and general “want to hang out?” energy. Think of BTW as a social club… with books as the secret handshake.
